In some circumstances, Enclave may not respond to start and stop verbs correctly on MacOS. This is a known bug we’re working to resolve.
Enclave cannot connect to the Enclave daemon.
In the event that a start or stop verb reports the above error message, the user should unload and reload Enclave using the plist file as follows:
sudo launchctl unload/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.enclave.plist
sudo launchctl load/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.enclave.plist
Once completed, the user should be able to start enclave in the normal fashion using
enclave start
